Privacy notice for the private beta
Version beta-1 · 21 October 2026
What we collect
Google gives us your stable account identifier, verified email and display name when you sign in. We save the birth details you enter, questions, conversations, answers, feedback, sign-in and visit days, and basic usage and cost records. You must accept this notice before entering birth details or asking a question.
How readings work
When you ask a question, your birth date, time, place and chart calculation inputs go to VedicAstroAPI. Your question, chart facts and relevant recent conversation context go to the configured AI provider. These services process that information to produce a reading. An uncertain or unknown birth time can reduce the reading’s precision.
Who can see it
You can see your own saved profiles and conversations. The operator can administer accounts and inspect usage, costs, failures and internal diagnostic records to run this beta. Authorized research roles may inspect records under existing scoped access controls. Other beta users cannot read your data.
Keeping and deleting data
The application's default live retention period is 30 days; the operator can configure a different period. You can delete your account in Account settings; this removes live account data, profiles, conversations and stored provider payloads, and signs out your sessions. Private database backups are managed outside this application and may contain earlier copies until the operator's backup retention period ends. This application does not know or enforce that period; ask the operator for the current backup deletion schedule before sharing sensitive details.
Access
The beta is invitation only. Each approved account has three questions per UTC day, subject to service and spending limits. The operator may pause readings or disable an account.
